Failure is the Most Powerful Part of Any Success Equation
Take a minute to look around and you will see that almost everything is a failure. Technically, it’s not a failure. It’s the result of many failures. Nothing of any significance was created by chance.
Sure, you can say history is lined with experiments that were found “by accident”, and we’d agree, but what were they doing up until they had that eureka moment? They were failing, over and over again, until the found it.
This is where the equation for success begins. Someone had a vision, and with their skill, determination and expertise, they developed products that we take for granted.
How Does Failure Start an Entrepreneur’s Success Equation?
The same principle applies to business. You can be sure to hear the stories of many successful entrepreneurs who have failed, been knocked down, and had to fight with all their energy to get up. These dark, humbling times are where the most valuable lessons can be learned.
You learn more about yourself. It’s where you learn the most about yourself. Money is important but it is not enough to be an entrepreneur.
You can’t help but be motivated by your “Why”. Once you understand this, all failures, all ego adjustments, and all times when you need to ask for assistance become manageable. You can bear them because you have the end in sight and are so focused that the failures are just bumps on your road to success.
This may sound cliché. You’ve probably heard it before. And you’re correct, there are many stories and posts on this topic. Why are people always seeking the easiest way to do things? They want to be successful but aren’t willing or able to invest the time and effort to get there.
This is more common in the home-based business/network marketing sector. They jump from one opportunity to the next, hoping that their next chance will make them rich. At the first sign that something is wrong, or the first obstacle, people follow their habitual pattern, and look for the “next-best thing”.
What have they achieved? They are doing themselves more harm than good by starting from scratch each time. They are not learning lessons that will help them grow professionally and personally.
Although network marketing doesn’t have to deal with overhead or employee issues, it is similar to the traditional business owners who have tried to launch their businesses since the Industrial Revolution began. Your failures are the key to success. Failure is a necessary part of success.
Do not give up if you are working on your network marketing company and encounter a challenge you need to overcome in order to reach the next level. You can get support from your upline, as they have likely dealt with similar problems. Accept the fact that you cannot solve the problem. You will come out stronger on the other end.
