What is Missing from My Skincare Routine?
We know how complicated it can be to put together a skincare routine, after all, it’s what we do for our clients all the time. Through our experience, we ask the right questions and provide the best skincare routine to suit our clients based on their needs.
However, we know that not everyone speaks with a professional to have a skincare routine set up for them. Let’s face it, ladies, we have been taking care of our skin since we were young and we know our skin. More importantly, we know what works best for our skin type, our schedule and our desired look. Or do we?
What is Your Skincare Routine Missing?
We may say that men’s egos get in their way, and they do most of the time – there is no disputing that but, we too sometimes let our egos get in the way. We block out or ignore information that has the potential to help us with something that we think we already know all there is to know.
When it comes to our skincare routine, (by definition routine means action repeated in the same manner), we may be missing valuable pieces of information. Information that would improve our complexion and even make the current products we use perform better.
For example, do you know when the best time to apply your moisturizer is, or what’s the condition your skin should be in before applying it? We all know the importance of using sunscreen, but do we know what the most important part of sunscreen is (hint: it’s not the SPF rating)? How about our shavers; when should we replace them?
Simple items like this that by themselves can cause blemishes and break-outs. Put them all together and we could actually be harming our skin. Opening ourselves up to new information will help us understand what may be missing from our skincare routines. So with knowledge and healthier skin as our motivator, we suggest a small quiz.
Our friends at HowStuffWorks have put together a great skincare routine quiz that will test your knowledge. Thankfully the quiz is very short and also is not created to make you feel or look bad. It’s there to educate you and help you learn facts about common misbeliefs and mistakes we all make in our skincare routine.
The quiz is short and very informative. It will take you less than 10 minutes to complete and your skin thanks you. Take the quiz now.
As always we appreciate all your comments and emails and don’t forget to share this quiz with your friends. Their skin thanks you too.
